Our Pre-Configuration Service saves you time, ensures every component is configured and tested, and guarantees your system performs exactly as intended before it leaves our workshop.
What We Do
- Unpack, configure, and bench-test all devices before dispatch
- Update firmware to the latest version and apply recommended settings
- Set up your mobile app (where supported) for live viewing and notifications
- Conduct quality assurance testing to ensure full functionality
- Apply tailored configurations where specific details are provided with your order
- When your order arrives, your system is already configured, tested, and ready to go — simply connect the wires, install, and start using it.
Free Support Credit Included
Every Pre-Configuration Service includes free Support Credit, covering at least one Remote Deep Dive Support session.
Our technicians can:
- Guide you or your installer through setup and testing
- Perform advanced remote configuration or fine-tuning
- Provide walk-throughs, training, and optimisation assistance
Important Details
- Standard pre-configuration covers core functions only.
- Site-specific or advanced integrations (e.g., automation, routers, or special event triggers) require remote setup or a separate quote.

Lead Times
- Small/basic systems: up to 3 business days before shipping.
- Large or integrated systems (e.g., Ness M1, Inception): 10+ business days, depending on complexity and workload.
Returns Policy
- Because pre-configured systems are individually prepared for each customer, they cannot be cancelled, refunded, or returned once setup has begun — except in the case of a valid warranty claim.

CCTV Systems
Our Pre-Configuration Service ensures your CCTV system is fully prepared and tested before shipping — saving time and avoiding costly setup errors.
Standard Pre-Configuration Includes
Recording Setup
- Default: motion-based recording (recommended to save storage)
- Optional: continuous only, or continuous + motion (on request)
Network Setup
- Configure network addresses for the NVR and cameras
Camera Features
- Enable IR (infrared) mode for night vision
- Enable white light or deterrent light when detecting humans/vehicles (if supported)
- Activate the siren or flashing light where applicable
- Enable the microphone (with your authorisation)
Security Access
- Temporary PIN codes and passwords (to be changed after installation)
Mobile App Setup
- Configured for live viewing, playback, and notifications
- Ensure notifications are enabled locally on your device
Not Included in Standard Pre-Configuration
Advanced or site-specific features such as:
- Line crossing, intrusion detection, facial recognition, number plate recognition, thermal calibration, people counting, etc.
- Integration with routers, garage doors, gates, or lighting systems
These can be configured later via Remote Deep Dive Support.
Alarm Systems
Our technicians prepare your alarm system for quick, trouble-free installation — reducing programming time and error risk.
Standard Pre-Configuration Includes
Arming Modes
- Sleep/Stay and Away/Full Arm modes
- Optional third mode (for Ness M1)
Entry/Exit Settings
- Configured delays for entry and exit paths
Alarms & Notifications
- Internal and external sirens
- Flashing strobe during alarm
- Strobe and optional siren sounds during arming/disarming
Remote Controls
- Pre-configured key fobs and handheld remotes
Security Access
- Temporary PIN codes and passwords (must be changed after installation)
Mobile App Setup
- Arming/disarming, triggering outputs (doors, gates, lights), and alarm notifications
Not Included in Standard Pre-Configuration
Advanced integrations such as:
- Network/router connections
- Integration with garage doors, gates, or automation platforms
- High-level integrations with Clipsal C-Bus, Ness M1, or Inception
These can be completed via Remote Deep Dive Support.
Intercom Systems
Ensure your intercom is configured for essential communication and convenience before shipping.

- Door-to-room communication
- Triggering outputs (for electric strikes, gates, or lights)
Security Access
- Temporary PINs and passwords (change after installation)
Mobile App Setup
- Communication with visitors
- Triggering outputs remotely

- Integration with other systems (CCTV or alarm)
- Site-specific network/router setup
