Important Setup Information
Mobile app setup and PC software installation are included only where specified.
These setup tasks must be completed on the installation site before completion of the project. Additional charges may apply if CustomLink is required to attend another site or return after project completion, unless otherwise specified in writing.
Product Overview
A professionally installed HiLook hybrid alarm package, typically suited to homes, small offices, retail shops and other smaller premises requiring reliable hardwired intrusion detection, mobile control and room for future expansion.
This package includes 4 wired PIR detectors, a hardwired LCD keypad and 2 wireless keyfobs, together with internal and external alarm warning devices.
System Control
Arm and disarm the system using the hardwired keypad, wireless keyfobs or Hik-Connect where configured.
Future Expansion
The system can be expanded with additional compatible detectors, keypads, keyfobs, tags, alarm outputs, communication modules and visual-verification devices as requirements change.
CustomLink professionally installs, configures, programs, tests and commissions the system ready for handover.
Expansion & Platform Capabilities
The following capabilities apply to HiLook systems based on the HA-ALARM-P48 hybrid alarm platform. Some functions require compatible additional equipment, communication modules, cameras, expansion hardware or configuration and may not be included in every package.

8 On-Board Wired Zones — Up to 16 with Zone Doubling
The control panel includes 8 physical wired zone inputs. Where suitable, zone doubling can be configured so the 8 on-board inputs support up to 16 separately identified hardwired detection zones before additional zone-expansion hardware is required.

Up to 48 Alarm Inputs
The system can be expanded to support up to 48 alarm inputs, allowing additional PIRs, door contacts and other compatible detection devices to be added as requirements grow.

Up to 16 Areas
Supports up to 16 security areas, allowing different parts of a property to be armed, disarmed and managed separately where required.

Up to 48 Alarm Outputs
Supports up to 48 outputs with compatible expansion. Outputs can be used for sirens, indicators, relays and other programmed alarm responses.

Hik-Connect Mobile Control
Where configured, authorised users can remotely arm and disarm supported areas, receive alarm notifications and access compatible system functions through the Hik-Connect app.

Built-In IP Communication
Ethernet/IP communication is built into the control panel for supported network, Hik-Connect, remote-management and alarm-communication functions.

Optional Cellular & PSTN Communication
Compatible communication modules can provide additional cellular or PSTN communication paths where required by the system design.

Up to 4 Wired Keypads
Additional compatible wired keypads can be added to provide system control from multiple locations.

Up to 48 Keyfobs & 48 Tags
Compatible wireless keyfobs and proximity tags can provide additional methods for authorised users to operate the system.

The platform supports up to 4 compatible wired PIRCAM detectors, combining movement detection with visual alarm verification in selected areas.

PIRCam Visual Alarm Verification
When a compatible PIRCam triggers an alarm, the system can capture associated images or video for visual verification. Supported alarm events can be delivered through Hik-Connect to help authorised users determine what caused the alarm.

2-Channel IP Camera Video Verification
The platform supports up to 2 compatible IP-camera channels for alarm video verification, allowing selected alarm events to be associated with supported CCTV video.

Live CCTV & Recorded Playback Where Compatible CCTV Is Connected
Where compatible HiLook or Hikvision CCTV cameras, DVRs or NVRs are added to Hik-Connect, authorised users can view supported cameras live and access recorded playback. This is separate from PIRCam alarm-event verification.

Speed-X Bus Expansion
The platform uses Speed-X bus technology for compatible wired devices and expansion, including supported transmission of PIRCam visual-verification data.

Alarm Receiving Centre Compatibility
The platform supports compatible alarm receiving centre reporting using supported communication protocols where professional monitoring is required and appropriately configured.

Expandable Hybrid System
Additional compatible detectors, keypads, keyfobs, tags, alarm outputs, communication modules and visual-verification devices can be added as the property's requirements change.
