Paradox Control Panel & Prepacked Kits

Paradox control panels are the main part of the alarm system and connect the detectors, sirens, keypads, outputs and expansion modules.

Pre-assembled kits can be used for fast ordering. You can use them as-is or add extra items if required.

The Paradox IP150+ module is required to enable remote access and control through the Paradox BlueEye mobile app.

Paradox Enclosures

Paradox enclosures and accessories may be used to house or support compatible control panels, expanders, power supplies and related modules.

Choose the enclosure or accessory based on the panel type, module requirements, battery size and installation method.

Power Supplies & Backup Batteries

Power supplies, backup power units and batteries may be used to power panels, sirens, expanders, relays, electric locks and other suitable low-voltage devices.

Check the voltage, current rating, battery size and enclosure requirements before selecting a power supply or battery.

Paradox Internet Module for Mobile App

The Paradox IP150+ module is required to enable remote access and control through the Paradox BlueEye mobile app.

Hardwired Sirens

Hardwired sirens create a loud warning sound when the system is triggered.

A system may use an indoor siren, outdoor siren, or multiple sirens for larger sites or separate areas.

Additional power may be required when using multiple sirens. Check the output capacity, siren current draw, power supply requirements and wiring method.

Paradox Hardwired Keypads

Paradox keypads may be used for system programming and everyday operation. At least one suitable keypad, LCD keypad or touchscreen is normally required.

Additional keypads may be added as required, subject to module limits and available current.

A total of up to fifteen 4-wire modules (including keypads) can be connected to the main board. However, the combined current draw of all connected devices must not exceed the main board’s available current.

For an 8-detector system, the following keypad combinations are generally considered safe without requiring an additional power supply:

  • 1 × 7" touchscreen, 1 × 5" touchscreen, up to 2 × LCD, or 1 × LCD and up to 2 × LED

Paradox Hardwired Indoor Detectors

Paradox hardwired indoor detectors may be used with suitable alarm panels to detect movement inside homes, shops, offices and other protected areas.

Check the detector type, coverage pattern, pet immunity, mounting location and compatibility before selecting a detector.

Paradox Hardwired Outdoor Detectors

Paradox hardwired outdoor detectors may be used for yards, walkways, side access areas, windows, sliding doors and perimeter areas.

Outdoor detection should be selected and positioned carefully to suit the site conditions and help reduce false alarms.

Paradox Remote Controls

Paradox remote controls may be used to arm, disarm or trigger emergency functions, depending on the remote type, receiver, panel and system configuration.

Check compatibility before selecting remotes, especially where two-way wireless functions are required.

Paradox Wireless Receivers and Repeaters

A wireless receiver is required when adding wireless devices to a Paradox alarm system.

Up to 2 wireless repeaters may be added to help improve the range of some compatible wireless devices. Please check product compatibility before selecting a receiver or repeater.

Paradox Wireless Detectors

Paradox wireless detectors may be used where running cables is difficult or not practical.

Compatible wireless detectors may include motion detectors, door contacts, glassbreak detectors, outdoor detectors and other wireless detection devices, depending on the receiver, panel and system design.

Other Paradox Wireless Devices

Other Paradox wireless devices may be used for system control, warning, output control, emergency functions or other wireless expansion, depending on the receiver, panel and system configuration.

This may include wireless keypads, wireless sirens, wireless PGMs, emergency devices or other compatible wireless accessories.

Paradox Boards

Paradox boards and modules may be used to expand the alarm system, add zones, add outputs, support remote access or connect compatible accessories.

Choose the board or module based on the control panel model, required function, wiring method and system design.
