Lens and Viewing Area
This model uses a 2.1 mm thermal lens with a thermal field of view of 90.0° horizontal × 65.4° vertical.
The optical image is wider at 117.8° horizontal × 70.4° vertical, so the thermal and optical images do not cover exactly the same area.
The 2.1 mm lens is suitable where wider nearby coverage is required.
Reference temperature-measurement distances:
- Approximately 7 m for a 0.2 × 0.2 m target
- Approximately 35 m for a 1 × 1 m target
